Automotive Service Technician

Join our growing team at Diversified Auto Inc., where you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles with quality, efficiency, and care. We’re a collaborative shop that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous learning, and we service all makes and models.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across all vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, steering/suspension, electrical, HVAC) with a focus on first-time quality.
  • Use OEM and aftermarket scan tools to identify faults, document findings, and complete accurate repair orders.
  • Follow shop processes for estimates, parts ordering, and workflow; communicate clearly with service advisors and teammates.
  • Road test vehicles to verify customer concerns and completed repairs; uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by mentoring junior techs and sharing best practices.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician in a professional shop environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with modern scan tools and service information systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Journeyperson/Journeyman certification or Red Seal is an asset (preferred, not required).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with hybrid/EV systems.
  • Provincial inspection certification.
  • OEM certifications or aftermarket training credits.

Schedule & Employment Type

  • Full-time, permanent.
  • Typical schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays as needed.
