Full job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented assistant for our Administration Department to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This is a crucial role that requires excellent communication skills, writing skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong attention to detail.

- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and faxing
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed

- Grant/proposal writing

- Account receivable

- Accounts payable
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

_ Supervise staff

Experience
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Experience with customer service principles and practices

- Must be COVID vaccinated as we are mandated by the PHO
