Job summary:

As an Area Manager (Alberta Market), you are the vital link between all the stores you oversee. You are resourceful and innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit and lots of drive. You possess keen business awareness and you have a strong understanding of retail sales, market trends, profit
performance and you excel in budget planning. You exert influence and ensure that all your stores achieve and/or surpass their financial goals. You are a team player that knows how to inspire, coach, motivate, develop and evaluate your management teams in order to achieve maximum performance and to optimize the customer experience. You ensure that all your stores operate in compliance with Brand and Visual presentation standards, as well as Company policies and procedures. You drive sales and customer service and also play an integral role in the hiring or the management team. With the support of your Sales Director, you provide guidance to the Store Manager and
assist in resolving all store issues, including business, customer and/or human resources related problems.

As an Area Manager, you are the leader that inspires and unites the efforts of your team towards achieving success.

Qualifications:
  • 7 years retail experience with a minimum of 3 years management experience in a multi-store environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Highly goal-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, delegate and follow up
  • Ability to resolve complex problems
  • Proactive and innovative
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
