Aramark is seeking a Cook for Maison Jean Lapointe

Position: Cook

Location: Maison Jean Lapointe (111 Normand Street, Montreal, QC H2Y 2K6)

Schedule: Full-time position. Work schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience, to be discussed during the interview.

Start Date: August

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in menu preparation
• Prepare, cook, and finalize dishes
• Set up and maintain workstation mise en place
• Demonstrate creativity while meeting the client's specific needs and expectations
• Ensure the quality of food services and client satisfaction
• Optimize food and labor costs
• Ensure compliance with management, health, food safety, and sanitation programs
• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction
• Be able to support operational needs as required

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Catering preparation experience is an asset
• Strong organizational skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to daily tasks
• MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate is an asset
• Ability to work independently
• Positive attitude
• Customer service oriented

Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, as some of our clients are English-speaking
