Dream Acres Pet Resort is hiring dedicated and dependable team members to help us provide the highest standard of care for the dogs entrusted to us.

This role involves supervising group play, caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, assisting with daily routines and maintaining a safe, clean and positive environment.

We are looking for applicants who are dependable, have a reliable vehicle as we are in a rural setting, hardworking, physically fit, and comfortable in a busy, fast-paced setting.

Experience working with dogs or in animal care is an asset, but a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for dogs are a must.

Applicants must be 18+ years old and have availability on weekends and holidays.

Candidates must:

  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be eager to learn with a positive attitude
  • Have good client relation skills
  • Be reliable, motivated, a self-starter, able to work alone, hard-working and extremely trustworthy
  • Work a flexible schedule, including morning, evening and weekend shifts (as well as holidays)
  • Love animals
  • Physically Active
  • Able to lift 40 pounds

Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Perform Kennel Operation/Daily Duties, which include but are not limited to: feed/water dogs, let dogs out for potty breaks, disinfect kennels, scoop poop, do laundry, clean/disinfect kennel, office and daycare room.
  • Handling dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds
  • Walk dogs in large groups
  • Perform basic grooming
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests

Starting wage is $19/hr., with an increase after the trial period.

Job Types: Part-time position initially then becoming full time by March 2026

Part-time hours: 20 per week
