Part-time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a part-time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for set hours weekdays from noon until 4:30pm. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, is highly proficient at multi-tasking, works well independently, and takes pride in providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Primary position to answer and direct phone calls during shift, taking accurate messages when necessary
  • Provide general information to clients and handle routine inquiries
  • Manage scheduling and assist with calendar coordination
  • Sort and distribute mail and packages
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document preparation, and scanning
  • Support staff with occasional project-based administrative work including rental increases and application processing
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Other administrative tasks

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Clear and professional phone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a team environment

Education: Secondary school completion preferred

Experience:

  • Front desk or customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative support: 1 year (preferred)
