Job Title: HVAC Sheet Metal Ductwork Installers & In-House Sheet Metal Fitting Fabricators

We are currently seeking experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Ductwork Installers and In-House Sheet Metal Fitting Fabricators to join our growing team.

Position 1: HVAC Sheet Metal Ductwork Installer

Responsibilities:

  • Install complete HVAC systems for luxury custom homes from rough-in to final completion.
  • Install custom sheet metal ductwork, fittings, linear diffusers, and ventilation systems.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, HVAC layouts, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Install and service HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioning units, heat pumps, humidifiers, HRVs, tankless water heaters, thermostats, line sets, exhaust systems, and venting systems.
  • Assist with rooftop installations and venting applications as required.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
  • Collaborate with project managers, builders, and team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
  • Perform quality control inspections and troubleshoot installation issues when necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HVAC ductwork installation and sheet metal work.
  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and custom home construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, HVAC drawings, and project specifications.
  • Experience installing high-efficiency HVAC equipment.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and HVAC installation equipment.
  • Comfortable working at heights and performing rooftop installations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, professional, and safety-oriented.

Position 2: In-House Sheet Metal Fitting Fabricator

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble custom sheet metal components for residential HVAC systems based on shop drawings and specifications.
  • Manufacture specialty HVAC fittings and ductwork including custom transitions, elbows, offsets, reducers, plenums, dampers, curbs, roof adapters, return air boxes, linear diffuser fittings, and custom venting components.
  • Produce precise custom-sized ductwork and fittings for luxury custom homes requiring detailed fabrication and accuracy.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, HVAC layouts, technical drawings, and fabrication schematics.
  • Operate fabrication machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect fabricated components to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper fitment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, installers, and field teams to ensure efficient production and timely project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized fabrication workspace.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards during the fabrication process.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication, preferably within the HVAC industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, HVAC schematics, and fabrication layouts.
  • Proficient in operating fabrication machinery, welding equipment, hand tools, and sheet metal equipment.
  • Experience with fabrication equipment such as CNC machines, plasma cutters, press brakes, Pittsburgh machines, snap lock machines, shears, roll formers, and welding equipment is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of custom HVAC duct systems and specialty fittings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic.
