Full job description

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Serve guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating dishes
  • Handle food safely by following proper sanitation and hygiene protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, commercial Dishwasher and dining areas
  • Follow all food safety regulations and health codes diligently
  • Support team members during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook breakfast/dinner menu items in a timely and consistent manner
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are maintained
  • Assist with inventory and stock rotation as required
  • Work efficiently during busy breakfast/dinner service periods.

Experience

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety is an advantage
  • Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service excellence
  • Experience working in fast-paced settings with a focus on teamwork and efficiency is highly valued
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must be available for early morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ontario Food Handler Certification is required
  • Must have reliable transportation
