Maintenance Administrator

Dekker Oilfield Services is looking for a Maintenance Administrator to join our team in Lloydminster, AB. The Maintenance Administrator will be responsible for coordinating maintenance schedules, managing work orders, maintaining records, maintaining parts room inventory, and liaising with both internal mechanics, operators and external customers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The Maintenance Administrator will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, optimizing resources, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Manage and track work orders from initiation to completion
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment
  • Maintain equipment registration and permit books, renew if required
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for services and repairs
  • Process invoices and purchase orders related to maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Support the maintenance team with administrative tasks
  • Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies, parts, and reorder as needed
  • Assist in developing and upgrading maintenance policies and procedures
  • Picking up parts from suppliers when needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance administration within the oilfield transportation industry
  • Experience in commercial transportation or a related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software
  • Knowledge of HD parts, both trucks and trailers, and ability to source
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
