Full job description

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is a leading worldwide, diversified manufacturer of complex metal components and products. It serves the aerospace, power, and general industrial markets. PCC is the market leader in manufacturing large, complex structural investment castings, airfoil castings, and forged components used in jet aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines. We have a current opportunity for a full-time Painter to join our PCC Concord, Ontario Team. We are looking for a Team player, who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing exceptional results for our customers.

Day Shift & Midnight Shift

Essential Responsibilities:

· Reviews work instruction sheet and selects and mixes the appropriate paint formulation

· Checks viscosity, documents mix log, makes sure all lids are secure and organizes paints accordingly

· Lays out parts on a paint board/tray/cart and verifies quantity.

· Cleans parts and applies primer, top coat and/or dry lubricants in-line with job instructions

· Places sprayed parts in the oven and bakes them to specified temperature

· Cleans all painting equipment and properly stores/labels excess paint

· Completes work instructions sheets to record the work performed

· Requires basic math skills

· Ability to work independently, and in a Team environment, with a strong attention to detail

· Must be able to read and understand blueprints/specifications

· Demonstrated ability to use calipers, rulers and other measuring devices
