Smart Aviation Maintenance Solutions Inc. (Smart AMS Inc.) is a Transport Canada–approved Maintenance Organization providing comprehensive technical services to support all aspects of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul. We deliver high-quality MRO services and parts support across Canada and internationally. Our team takes pride in offering one-stop maintenance solutions that help our customers achieve their operational goals safely and efficiently.

Currently, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Planner to join the team.

Position Title: Aircraft Maintenance Planner

Location: Mississauga, ON Canada

Employment Type: Full-Time

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Processing all maintenance related paperwork as directed

· Completing any required training prior to the due dates

· Submitting log pages for processing

· Reviewing task cards monthly and verifying the status

· Collection and verification of aircraft journey log pages

· Data entry of aircraft flight time and cycles as well as maintenance actions

· Verifying, scanning/uploading and filing job cards

· Producing reports as required

· Forecast maintenance between onsite bases

· Forecast maintenance for offsite bases

· Any other related duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

· You have a college or professional training

· Strong customer service orientation toward both internal and external customers

· Superior analytical, time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

· Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases

· Meticulous records maintenance skills

· Superior interpersonal skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills, oral and written

· Must have excellent organizational skills

· Previous experience in the aviation industry would be an asset

· Previous Aircraft Maintenance/Records Management experience or education is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
