Overview

Myo Centre is looking for a compassionate and motivated Doctor of Acupuncture / Registered Acupuncturist to join our friendly multidisciplinary clinic.

Established in 1995, Myo Centre is a trusted Edmonton wellness clinic offering Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and Manual Osteopathy. Our collaborative team is committed to providing professional, patient-centred care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop tailored acupuncture treatment plans
  • Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile needles, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each session
  • Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care to foster informed decision-making
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care strategies
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize results
  • Uphold strict hygiene standards and adhere to all safety protocols during procedures
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety standards and infection control procedures

We are looking for someone who

  • Is registered and in good standing with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta
  • Holds current professional liability insurance
  • Provides safe, ethical and patient-centred care
  • Is dependable, professional and comfortable working independently
  • Communicates warmly and works well within a collaborative team
  • Is interested in building long-term relationships with patients
  • Has experience with cupping, moxibustion or other TCM techniques—an asset

New graduates and experienced practitioners are welcome to apply. Registration with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta is required to practise acupuncture and use the title Doctor of Acupuncture in Alberta.

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
