About Indixio
At Indixio, we believe information should work for organizations, not against them.
For over 25 years, we have helped public and private sector organizations transform the way they manage information, documents, records, and knowledge. Through our expertise in information governance, digital transformation, and intelligent information management, we help organizations become more efficient, compliant, and ready for the future.
As we continue to grow across Canada, we are looking for a Senior Strategic Advisor to lead our expansion efforts in Alberta.
Your Mission
As a Senior Strategic Advisor, you will act as a trusted consultant and business partner to organizations looking to modernize the way they manage information.
Rather than focusing solely on software sales, your role will be to understand organizational challenges, uncover opportunities for improvement, and guide decision-makers toward strategic solutions that create long-term value.
You will develop executive relationships, drive new business opportunities, and collaborate with internal subject matter experts to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Strategic Business Development
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy for Calgary.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities within public sector, and private sector organizations.
- Build relationships with executive leaders, department heads, IT leaders, records managers, and operational stakeholders.
- Create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship development.
- Manage opportunities through the complete sales cycle.
Trusted Advisor Role
- Lead discovery conversations focused on business objectives, operational challenges, compliance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Position Indixio as a strategic partner rather than a software vendor.
- Facilitate executive discussions around information governance, productivity, risk management, and organizational efficiency.
- Develop business cases and value propositions aligned to customer priorities.
Solution Development
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants, solution consultants, customer success teams, and marketing to design winning solutions.
- Participate in solution demonstrations, workshops, presentations, and executive briefings.
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Market Leadership
- Represent Indixio at industry events, conferences, associations, and networking activities.
- Develop market intelligence and identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Contribute to the evolution of Indixio's offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Build strategic partnerships that help accelerate market growth.
Sales Excellence
- Maintain accurate forecasts and opportunity data within CRM systems.
- Achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Provide regular territory and pipeline updates.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and best practices.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months, you will:
- Establish Indixio as a recognized partner within key Alberta markets.
- Build a robust and predictable sales pipeline.
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across target organizations.
- Successfully close new strategic opportunities.
- Contribute to long-term recurring revenue growth.
- Become a trusted voice within the information management and digital transformation community.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales, strategic advisory, business development, or enterprise solution selling.
- Experience selling complex solutions with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven success engaging executive and senior leadership teams.
- Experience managing long and sophisticated sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a territory and generate net-new business.
Preferred Experience
- Information management, enterprise content management, document management, SaaS, software, or digital transformation solutions.
- Public sector, or broader government markets.
- Information governance, records management, compliance, or workflow automation initiatives.
- Microsoft ecosystem, enterprise software, or business process transformation projects.
Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional business acumen.
- Strategic thinker with strong consultative skills.
- Excellent executive communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong relationship-building and networking capabilities.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Highly organized and disciplined in managing opportunities.
- Curious, coachable, and continuously learning.
Why Join Indixio?
Competitive Compensation
- Competitive base salary
- Uncapped commission plan
- Performance incentives
Comprehensive Benefits
- Group insurance
- RRSP matching and profit-sharing program
- Generous vacation program
- Flexible work environment
Career Growth
- Opportunity to shape and grow a strategic territory.
- Access to industry-leading technologies and partners.
- Collaboration with a highly experienced team.
- Meaningful career growth within a growing Canadian organization.
Pay: $54,153.86-$166,705.48 per year
Benefits:
