About the Role

As a Mechanical Quality Inspector, you are the final line of defense between our shop floor and our clients' mission-critical operations. You aren’t just checking boxes; you are validating the integrity of complex turbine skids, modular power systems, and high-stakes rotating equipment. From incoming material traceability to final "FPT-Ready" validation, you ensure that when a system leaves our facility, it carries the TURBINE-X seal of absolute reliability. You are a master of technical drawings, a stickler for ITP compliance, and a collaborative partner to our engineering and production teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections on modular process skids, data center modules, and pump/compressor packages.
  • Verify the integration of rotating equipment and electrical packages within industrial assemblies.
  • Review and validate technical drawings and specifications to ensure modular systems meet strict client standards.
  • Identify mechanical discrepancies and coordinate with production teams for timely resolutions.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation and quality reports for turnkey industrial solutions.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Inspection role specifically within the modular, oil and gas, or power generation sectors.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in rotating equipment, skids and industrial assembly.
  • Sector Experience: Familiarity with companies involved in flow industries, modular solutions, or large-scale HVAC systems is a significant asset.
  • Mechanical Focus: While welding knowledge is helpful, your primary strength should be in mechanical fit-up, assembly tolerances and system integration.
  • Local Presence: Must be based in or able to commute to the Nisku/Edmonton area.

PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to X-Group safety policies and SOPs.
  • PPE: Ability to wear required gear (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection).
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders and navigate an active industrial shop floor.
