Warehouse Associate
Central Warehouse
Mississauga, ON
Fulltime, Permanent
What you will be doing:
  • Coordinate effective cross-docking of orders to ensure efficient processing and on-time delivery, reporting any issues as they arise.
  • Resolve shipment errors promptly and provide status updates to Logistics, Customer Service Representatives, and the Sales Team.
  • Complete required area audits and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and propose continuous improvements to shipping processes and layout.
  • Provide information and updates to customers and CSRs as required.
  • Collaborate with the Central Warehouse Shipping team to resolve inquiries and fast-track priority orders.
  • Support other Distribution Centre functions as needed to ensure business continuity.
  • Comply with all health and safety practices and policies.
  • Work occasional overtime as required to meet business demands.
What you will bring to our team:
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or warehouse experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous experience operating Material Handling Equipment such as reach truck, walkie, or counterbalance is considered an asset. A valid license for certified equipment such as a forklift is also considered an asset.
  • Intermediate computer literacy.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or other Warehouse Management Systems is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems is an asset.

Compensation
$22.00 per hour
Canadian Bearings provides the salary range for this position to promote fairness and transparency. The rate reflects the anticipated base pay for the role; however, actual compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
