Math Teacher

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Math Teachers who enjoy working with children and are passionate about helping students build confidence and strong math skills.

About the Role

As a Math Teacher, you will work with students ages 5–12 in a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment. You will help students strengthen their math foundation, develop problem-solving abilities, and foster a love of learning through positive encouragement and meaningful challenges.

Requirements

• Positive, energetic, and responsible personality
• Strong math skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient and able to work well with young children and parents
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Teaching or tutoring experience

Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or Ontario Certified Teacher certification preferred
• Experience in math contests or competition mathematics programs is an asset
• Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus

Responsibilities

• Teach math lessons to students ages 5–12
• Create a positive and interactive classroom environment
• Foster learning through engaging lessons and guided problem-solving activities
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff
