Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen station before and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
• Adhere to proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food preparation methods, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
