Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assess, develop, and implement rehabilitation programs to improve patients' mobility and overall physical function. This role requires a compassionate approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of human movement and physical therapy principles. The Kinesiologist will work closely with patients to promote recovery, prevent injury, and enhance quality of life through tailored exercise and treatment plans.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations
  • Develop individualized rehabilitation programs based on patient needs and goals
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and lifestyle modifications
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to ensure cohesive patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in kinesiology and rehabilitation techniques

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field; certification as a Certified Kinesiologist or equivalent is preferred
  • Prior experience working with diverse patient populations in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and therapeutic exercise principles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support patients through their recovery process
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
