Bartender (FOH) – Full-Time

$17.60 per hour + tips

This posting is for an existing vacancy at Miijidaa Cafe + Bistro

The Neighbourhood Group of Companies is hiring an experienced Bartender to join one of our locally focused restaurants, including The Wooly Pub, Borealis Grille & Bar, Miijidaa Café + Bistro, or Park Eatery.

Compensation

$17.60/ hour
Tips earned on top of hourly wage

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of bartending or hospitality experience
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or bar
Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
SmartServe certification (required)
Friendly, professional, guest-focused attitude

What You’ll Do

Provide warm, efficient, and knowledgeable bar service
Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
Showcase local craft beer, VQA wines, and seasonal cocktails
Maintain strong menu and product knowledge
Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and leadership
Take ownership of your section and guest experience every shift
Follow steps of service and food safety standards
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace

Physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting or moving bar equipment and supplies.
