Dixes Landscaping is looking for a hardworking and dependable Landscaping Crew Member to join our Paving Installation & Repair Division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is eager to contribute to the construction and restoration of beautiful outdoor spaces.

Working under the direction of the Crew Leader, you will assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of interlock, natural stone, and concrete paving systems for residential and commercial projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesPaving Installation

• Assist with the installation of interlock, unistone, natural stone, and concrete pavers.
• Prepare work sites through excavation, grading, and base preparation.
• Spread and compact granular materials to create stable foundations.
• Measure, cut, and install paving stones according to project specifications.

Paving Repair & Restoration

• Lift and reset existing pavers.
• Re-level uneven surfaces and repair sunken or damaged areas.
• Replace broken or worn paving stones.
• Apply polymeric sand to joints and assist with sealing completed surfaces.

Site Preparation & Cleanup

• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Restore surrounding landscape areas after project completion.
• Assist with general landscaping and hardscape construction duties as required.

Equipment & Safety

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, and other landscaping equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns to the Crew Leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, paving, or construction is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn paving installation and repair techniques.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Valid driver's license is an asset.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
