Massage Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role requires effective communication skills to assess clients' needs and ensure their comfort throughout the session.

Duties

• Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss treatment plans based on their preferences and medical history.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and medical terminology to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
• Document client sessions accurately, including treatment details and any relevant observations for future reference.

Requirements

• Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to better understand clients’ health conditions.
• Ability to create personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
