Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in baking, with a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of taste and presentation. You will play a key role in creating delightful treats for our customers while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. We are willing to interview those with a passion for wanting to learn as well and willing to train the right person if relevant experience is not part of your skill set.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures.
• Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking special orders as needed.
• Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, following all health regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a baking or culinary role is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
