Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Meat Packer / Cleaner to join our food processing team. This role involves packaging meat products and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Package meat products accurately(beef, pork, and other meat products)
• Operate packaging equipment and assist with meat handling as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with meat cutting and butchery tasks when required, following proper safety procedures
• Perform routine cleaning duties to ensure a hygienic environment for food processing
• Follow all safety protocols related to food processing, sanitation, and equipment operation
• Support the manufacturing process by preparing raw materials for packaging and distribution

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in packaging, manufacturing, or the food industry is preferred
• Basic understanding of butchery, meat cutting, and food processing techniques
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating packaging machinery and troubleshooting minor issues
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and quality standards

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
