Team Member (Part-Time / Full-Time)

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Team Members to join our dynamic franchise urban Cafe team in both part-time and full-time capacities. ((This is not summer job most be able to continue after summer)) This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced food service environment where excellent customer service and teamwork are essential. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, strong work ethic, and a desire to grow within our organization. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment handling
• Greet customers, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service in a friendly manner
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and quality
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, food prep, or cleaning as needed

Skills

• Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy hours to ensure timely service
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Effective communication skills for working with team members and interacting with customers
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, serving, and upselling

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
