Full job description

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut and sew all types of nylon slings in accordance with the order form
  • Apply the necessary accessories to the slings (ex: labels, tags, etc.)
  • Inspect slings before shipping them
  • Participate in the training of new employees
  • Carry out the inventory
  • Maintain sewing machines
  • Assume the same responsibilities and activities as day laborers - Type A
  • Respect work procedures and deadlines
  • Respect ISO standards and procedures
  • Follow occupational health and safety standards
  • Respect the general policies and regulations of the company
  • Any other task required by this position
Requirements
  • Know how to read, write and count
  • Be able to read measurements (imperial and metric)
  • Be able to use a vernier or other measuring instruments
  • Good manual skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Good learning skills
Skills & Abilities
  • Secondary V completed or equivalent
