Sanitation Specialist (Temporary 6 Weeks)

Location: Richmond, BC

Pay: $21.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (First shift: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM)

Start Date: Immediate – July 27 or July 28

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sanitation Specialist to support our Customer Care team with equipment cleaning, product testing, and general assistance in a manufacturing environment. This is a temporary 6-week assignment with the potential for overtime when required.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish industrial equipment following product testing and service activities
• Assist technicians with testing machinery and equipment used in the food and bakery industry
• Support handling, storage, and movement of product samples
• Prepare equipment for project testing, production line tests, and customer-related activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Care Manager or Service Technicians

Qualifications

• Physically capable of performing a full shift involving standing, crouching, sitting, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Schedule Details

• First shift: Monday or Tuesday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Regular schedule after first shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Occasional overtime may be available depending on testing schedules
