Company Information:

Rookie + Ace Multi-Sport is a 9,000 sq. ft. facility operating out of Catalyst137 in Kitchener. Our facility features a Padel court, a Pickleball court and a Multi-Purpose court. The focus of our business is to deliver multi-sport programs, camps and leagues for ages 2-11. We also have adult Pickleball and Padel programming, open play and court rentals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead our Learn to Play Pickleball classes -- Level 1 & 2 -- for up to 6 players at a time. We offer classes for kids, teens and adults.
  • Teach clinics, private lessons and private group lessons when offered.
  • Create all lesson plans and program plans and submit brief outlines to management for approval.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Advanced pickleball player (DUPR 4.0 or higher preferred)
  • NCCP Certification at "Instructor 2" level (preferred)
  • Experience coaching pickleball
  • Interested in working independently.
  • First Aid & CPR – C certification.

Schedule:

We typically book programming in 2-3 hour shifts. Weekday shifts start at 430pm and weekend shift timing is dynamic, based on the customer's preferences for private lessons.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
