Overview
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, flexible and ambitious driver with a clean driving abstract to join our busy trucking company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting product safely & efficiently to various job locations, while demonstrating a passion of the road, strong work ethic, and pride in their work.

Our fleet includes new equipment operating with tri-drive trucks and quad configurations providing steady year round work hauling a variety of products to BC Interior, Kootenay's, Vancouver, and Alberta. We are dedicated to having our drivers contribute to the continued success of our customer relationships, and we are seeking drivers who are reliable, dedicated to share that same commitment.

This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, navigation skills and the ability to periodically operate a loader. The truck driver will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries, communicating regularly while upholding the highest standards of safety & professionalism while on the road & especially to our customers.

Key Duties

• Safely operate trucks to transport product to designated site locations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip & post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety & compliance
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries & required documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding deliveries & any issues in transit
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while on the road for job site

Qualifications & Requirements :

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License with clean NSC Abstract
• Minimum 8-10 years of Commercial Dump Truck driving experience ( experience with tri-drive & quad trailers an asset )
• Winter & mountain driving experience
• Ability to periodically operate a loader
• Excellent communication with dispatch regularly & time management skills
• Physically fit & capable of handling job site requirements
• Reliability, professional, and dedication to customer service are essential
• Mostly out of town with some local hauling
