Seafood Processing Worker

Established in 1988, DOM International is a food import and logistics company specializing in seafood, particularly salmon and value-added salmon products. We are passionate about providing excellent food quality and customer service to the marketplace and are growing our team of passionate individuals who share our vision.

We currently have openings for processing line workers for our seafood-processing facility. Two Monday-Friday shifts are available: 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Key responsibilities include

• Performing processing activities necessary to fulfill orders: operating high-speed packaging equipment, labelling, packing, weighing, mixing, batching, etc.
• Completing pre- and post-production tasks: production line and equipment set-up and put-away, cleanup, etc.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the production room between production runs
• Assisting with product and machinery trials
• Conducting CCP checks

Requirements

• Willing and able to be trained
• Able to lift up to 30 lb.
• Attention to detail
• Able to read and write English
• Asset: 1 year's meat or seafood processing experience
• Asset: 1 year's multi-vac and band saw experience
• Asset: valid reach truck or forklift license
• Asset: good computer skills
