Walkie & Dockstocker Operator

Our client in the south Etobicoke area is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Shipper/Receiver to join their team team.

*Must be able to work in a cold environment with meat products*

Duties

Responsible for the upkeep and organization of the production cooler area
- Manage stock rotation, transferring frozen products for tempering
- Transporting completed orders to the warehouse upon shipment
- Safely operate a forklift to move skids between the warehouse and production area
- Place production skids in the stock area and lotting them appropriately
- Prepare the shipping and receiving dock to accept incoming / outgoing product
- Pick orders and prepare for shipping, including: stacking, wrapping, and crating products
- Match product with purchase orders / shipping orders
- Verify received product expiration codes
- Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating
- Perform monthly inventory counts
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous shipping/receiving experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating the Dockstocker & Walkie
• Must have a valid forklift license
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
