Job Description:

Gig Guys Production & Event Services is hiring experienced boom lift operators for live outdoor event and festival builds throughout Toronto and nearby regions.

This freelance, on-call position is ideal for dependable operators who can safely and efficiently handle all-terrain conditions and support stage, lighting, and signage installations.

Please Note: Certification alone is not enough — we require at least 2 years of hands-on experience operating equipment in real job environments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience operating boom lifts and scissor lifts in all-terrain conditions (e.g. Genie, JLG)
• Valid MEWP Boom Lift Certification (CPO-approved in Ontario)
• Valid Working at Heights certification
• Must bring your own PPE, including:
• Hard hat
• High-visibility vest
• Full body harness and lanyard
• CSA-approved safety boots
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Clear communication and ability to follow on-site direction
