Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Welders skilled in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on diverse projects including ductwork, construction components, and assembly of metal structures. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly.
Duties
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding on a variety of metal components and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute welds
- Operate machinery such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and power tools to shape and prepare materials
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise fabrication according to specifications
- Rigging and positioning materials using cranes or forklifts for welding or assembly tasks
- Conduct quality inspections of welds and finished products to meet safety and quality standards
- Assist in machining operations when necessary for component fabrication
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, rigging, and manufacturing environments
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding within a manufacturing or construction setting
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, assembly, and fabrication processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and schematics
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and crane operation is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication
- Experience with ductwork, construction projects, or similar industries is desirable
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
