Cleaner (part-time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with custodial tasks. Prior experience with commercial cleaning, facilities maintenance, or the use of hand tools and power tools is a plus. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Operate heavy lifting equipment or assist with heavy lifting tasks safely during cleaning or maintenance procedures
• Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards set by company policies and client expectations
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning needs or concerns

Requirements

• Proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during cleaning routines
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or custodial work is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
