Post Harvest technician

As Post Harvest Technician, the Employee shall perform all related services for the Employer including but not limited to:

This position reports directly to the Post Harvest Supervisor and operates alongside Horticulturists to ensure the production of the highest quality plants available. Follows established policies and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks. Supports techniques and practices of cultivation and processing cannabis including transplanting, pruning, cleaning and sanitation, disease detection, and management, and packaging, etc. Maintains the integrity of cultivation and processing areas and supports the cultivation team as required to ensure the production of the best quality cannabis.

CORE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation of Pre-roll machine
• Packaging of Pre-rolls into Mylars including Excise stamps
• Package Dried Flower into Mylars including Excise stamps as required
• Package Mylars into Boxes as required
• Assist in taking down Dry room
• Hand trimming dried flower as required
• Keep accurate records of all production activities
• Maintain good horticulture practices as well as good handling practices, while following GMP, GPP standards.
• Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety.
• All other duties assigned.
