Location: Langille’s Metal Recycling

Langille’s Metal Recycling/Truck Parts is looking for a skilled and safety-focused Operator to join our growing and dynamic team. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in operating heavy machinery efficiently and responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavator/material handler and various attachments
• Perform daily inspections, maintenance checks, and greasing of equipment
• Identify and sort metals accurately
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and project timelines
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures diligently
• Take initiative and work independently when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment with multiple attachments
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• KNOWLEDGE OF METALS TYPES
