Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Customer Support Specialist to join its Order Processing team. What You'll Be Doing
Procurement

Manage purchasing activities and coordinate with internal and external suppliers.

Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement, logistics, and supplier communications.

Oversee the procurement process from purchase order through delivery.

Review and approve vendor invoices.

Resolve supplier issues and escalate concerns when necessary.

Partner with internal teams to monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory.

Coordinate with cross-functional departments to maintain efficient material flow throughout the supply chain.

Maintain accurate material master data within the ERP system.

Participate in meetings with global teams to support procurement initiatives and process improvements.

Help identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across procurement processes.

Train new team members and provide updates on procurement procedures and best practices.
Customer Support

Maintain customer records within ERP and CRM systems.

Provide outstanding customer support via phone and email.

Prepare sales and service quotations.

Manage the full order lifecycle, including order entry, confirmations, shipping, invoicing, returns, and credits.

Coordinate shipments with warehouse personnel.

Support the sales and marketing teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Partner with Finance regarding customer credit and payment inquiries.

Travel internationally on occasion for training or business meetings, as needed.
What We're Looking For
-
5+ years of experience in procurement, order processing, customer support, or supply chain operations.

Technical aptitude with an engineering or manufacturing-related environment preferred.

Experience working with ERP systems throughout the full procurement and order management cycle.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.

Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Post-secondary diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bilingual in English and French is required and you will be tested.
