Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous hotel or custodial experience is preferred, but we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount.

Duties

  • Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces according to hotel standards
  • Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities to ensure guest comfort
  • Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop floors, and clean windows as needed
  • Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items
  • Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
  • Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
  • Assist with additional cleaning tasks during busy periods or special events

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment (industrial cleaning experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving supplies
