Meat Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Meat Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible preparing high-quality meats for our customers while ensuring exceptional service and maintaining kitchen standards. This role requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Ensure all meat products are handled safely and stored properly to maintain quality.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including marinating and seasoning.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with Customers, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area, including workstations and equipment.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.

Skills

• Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
• A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
• Ability to learn

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
