We are looking for a qualified X-Ray Technologist to join our team for evening part-time/casual coverage at our Brampton location. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours, evening shifts, or additional clinic work outside of regular daytime hours.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a reliable and experienced X-Ray Technologist who is confident performing diagnostic X-ray exams in an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate should be professional, patient-focused, punctual, and able to work independently during evening coverage.

The candidate must be registered with CMRITO and able to perform a variety of general radiographic examinations using digital radiography equipment.

Experience in clinics, hospitals, or independent health facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations at Unity Diagnostic Centre’s Brampton location

Operate digital radiography equipment safely and efficiently

Position patients properly and explain procedures clearly

Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the exam

Follow radiation safety protocols and clinic policies

Maintain accurate electronic and paper records as required

Work closely with radiologists, reception staff, and clinic management

Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for use

Provide professional and respectful patient care

Assist with evening clinic workflow and coverage needs

Requirements

Registered and in good standing with CMRITO

Experience performing general X-ray examinations

Knowledge of radiation safety standards and patient positioning

Ability to work independently in a clinic setting

Strong communication and patient care skills

Reliable, punctual, and responsible

Comfortable working evening shifts

Clinic or hospital experience preferred

Experience with digital radiography systems is an asset

Ability to multitask in a busy outpatient environment

Schedule

Part-time / casual evening coverage

Flexible days available

Weekday evenings required

Weekend availability is an asset

Hours may vary depending on clinic needs and candidate availability
