Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Prior experience with sales, hand tools, farm machinery, or power tools is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in pest management within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest problems and assess severity
  • Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various methods and equipment
  • Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits and treatments performed
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively during treatments
  • Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during application processes
  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of pest control equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions professionally

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of pest control techniques and products preferred
  • Experience with sales or customer service is advantageous
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery required for treatment applications
  • Ability to operate and maintain various pest control equipment safely
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for explaining treatment procedures to clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse environments
  • Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
