Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Warehouse Inventory Clerk to join one of our client in Barrie, ON from Monday to Friday | 3:00 PM Start. This role is vital in managing inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse operations, and supporting demand planning processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and familiarity with procurement and materials management. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives within a dynamic warehouse environment.

Duties

Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms .
Conduct regular stock audits and data collection to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Support demand planning and forecasting activities utilizing tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Data Visualization software.
Analyze inventory trends and perform data mining to optimize order fulfillment, sourcing, and procurement strategies.
Collaborate with purchasing teams to manage procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate sourcing activities.
Assist in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse distribution efficiency and materials management
Support the implementation of supply chain strategies including 3PL coordination, retail merchandising, and e-commerce order fulfillment.
Participate in continuous improvement projects related to warehouse distribution, process efficiency, and inventory control.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse management, procurement, or supply chain analytics
Strong data analysis skills
Knowledge of demand planning, MRP systems, and materials management processes.
Familiarity with warehouse distribution operations and retail merchandising practices.
Experience with sourcing negotiations and procurement processes.
Ability to interpret complex data sets for process improvement opportunities.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory records.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments involved in supply chain activities.
