Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Banquet Chefs to work with our culinary team in preparing exceptional banquet and event meals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive food preparation and cooking skills, and a deep understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage high-volume food service operations, oversee kitchen staff, and ensure the delivery of outstanding dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee aspects of banquet food preparation, ensuring quality, presentation, and timely service
  • Assist Executive Chef in delegating duties to kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Coordinate menus for banquets and special events in coordination with event planners and management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Coordinate with serving staff to ensure seamless delivery of meals during events
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health standards
  • Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably in banquet or large-scale catering settings
  • Extensive food preparation, cooking, and food service experience in a professional kitchen
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
  • Knowledge of restaurant management practices, including inventory control and quality assurance
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures in the food industry
  • Prior experience working in a hospitality or restaurant setting is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to serve high-quality meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
