Lube and Tire Technician

Job Summary

At Jiffy Lube Bolton, we're looking for a skilled, hands-on Lube and Tire Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate brings solid mechanical experience, a track record in automotive maintenance, and strong customer service skills. You'll handle routine lube services, tire work, and basic repairs in a fast-paced shop where technical ability and professionalism matter.

Duties

• Perform oil changes, lubrication services, and tire rotations efficiently and accurately
• Rotate tires, patch tires, and replace headlights and bulbs as needed
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic repairs as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools to replace tires, brake pads, filters, and other components
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks following dealership standards and safety protocols
• Engage directly with customers to explain services performed, answer questions, and recommend the best oil and services for their needs
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
• Keep detailed records of services performed for each vehicle
• Promote additional sales of maintenance services and products to customers

Experience

• Must have prior oil change or lube technician experience
• Prior experience in customer service within an automotive setting is desirable
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including tires, brakes, oil systems, and general maintenance
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) and work in physically demanding environments
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and maintenance procedures

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
