Guest Experience Event Staff

Part-Time, Casual | Weekends | Windsor-Essex

We are hiring dependable, confident Guest Experience Event Staff to support public events across Windsor-Essex.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people, communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and can manage an assigned area without constant supervision.

Compensation: $20/hour

Typical shift length: 8 hours

Typical frequency: 1-3 shifts per month

Location: Windsor and Essex County

Responsibilities

• Greet attendees and vendors
• Scan tickets and assist with digital ticket issues
• Process approved on-site sales or registration changes
• Answer common event questions
• Explain event policies
• Direct attendees throughout the venue
• Manage entrances, lines, and crowd flow
• Run activities, contests, games, or information areas
• Assist vendors with routine questions
• Handle minor complaints professionally
• Escalate serious issues appropriately
• Keep assigned areas organized and properly staffed
• Assist with light setup, cleanup, and teardown

You will be expected to review the event brief, understand basic policies, and remain useful throughout the shift.

Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, recreation, tourism, sales, festivals, venues, or front-desk work is an asset.

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada

First Aid and Smart Serve are assets.
