Mary Brown’s Chicken is a proudly Canadian quick service restaurant brand with over 55 years of history. We’re opening a brand-new location in Arnprior this October and are hiring Cooks to join our kitchen team.

Position Overview

As a Cook, you’ll prepare our signature fried chicken and other menu items fresh in-store, ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety standards are always met.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook chicken and other menu items following recipes and brand standards.
• Operate fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor food quality, portioning, and cooking times.
• Maintain cleanliness of cooking stations, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or cooking experience is an asset, but not required — training will be provided.
• Comfort handling raw chicken and working with fryers/ovens.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Reliability and strong attention to detail.
• Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage: $17.60/hour.
