Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a hospitality environment. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff alike.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service practices.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department of a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and guests.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
