TacoTaco in Kensington Market is a brand-new fast casual restaurant specializing in California-style tacos and burritos, with vegan and unique options, craft beer, cocktails, and a cozy sun-lit patio. We’re looking for energetic and reliable team members to deliver great service and keep the good vibes flowing.

Position: Server/Bartender
As part of our front-of-house team, you will:

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude;
• Take orders, serve food, and deliver an excellent guest experience;
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (cocktails, beer, wine);
• Manage tabs, process payments, and handle cash accurately;
• Keep the bar and service areas clean, stocked, and organized;
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and respectfully;
• Assist with closing duties to ensure the venue is ready for the next service.

Qualifications:

• Previous hospitality or bartending/server experience required;
• Smart Serve certification required (or willingness to obtain before starting);
• Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset;
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic math skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing/walking for long periods;
• Positive attitude and a team-first mentality.

Job Details:

• Must be available Friday and Saturday nights until 3am (late closing shifts).
• Hours per week: 12–20 hours
• Job type: Temporary or permanent
• Wage: $17.75/hour (depending on experience) + tips averaging ~$10-15/hour
