Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, ensuring that our deli section operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food products while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Assist customers with their orders, providing exceptional service and product knowledge.
  • Monitor inventory levels of deli products and assist with restocking as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience in cashiering or cash handling is a plus.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash transactions and inventory management.
  • A background in food preparation or restaurant service will be beneficial for this role.
