SERVER NEEDED FOR MONDAY AND WEDSNEDAY, 4pm -close with more hours available.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for timely delivery
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments efficiently
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met through proper food handling, cleanliness, and adherence to health regulations
• Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary to support kitchen staff and ensure smooth service flow
• Maintain a clean, organized work station and dining area throughout your shift to promote a welcoming environment for guests

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for order entry and transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation protocols diligently
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue
