Swim / Aquatic Instructors – Markham Location

Make a Splash with WD Swim!

Are you energetic, passionate about swimming, and eager to inspire others? WD Swim is seeking dedicated Swim/Aquatic Instructors to join our Markham team!

About the Role

As a WD Swim Instructor, you’ll create a safe, positive, and fun environment where swimmers of all ages and abilities can thrive. Your energy and guidance will help students build confidence, master strong techniques, and develop a lifelong love for the water.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach small group lessons (maximum 4 students per class)
  • Lead engaging, inclusive, and safety-first aquatic programs
  • Motivate swimmers at every stage of their journey
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members
  • Support a clean, safe, and welcoming facility environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion for swimming, fitness, and working with people of all ages
  • Previous experience teaching swimming or aquatic programs (an asset, not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Required: Aquafit Instructor certification, Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
  • New instructors welcome — full training provided!

Schedule & Hours

  • Evenings (Mon–Fri) and/or weekends (Sat & Sun)
  • Flexible scheduling based on your availability
  • Part-time: up to 20 hrs/week | Full-time: 20+ hrs/week
